After coming closer to work on animations, I tried some transmapped hairprops. But i'm not happy with the look. Also hair in animations should move.

So I experimented a little with dynamic hair. Finaly found a simple solution to enhance the appearance, while waiting for e-on to fix it. Simply set the global transparency of the hair-material(s) to 86%. The results can be seen here:

The groundplane is covered with the 'Rock#1' material from cornucopia. The rendertimes shown under the pictures are on a dual core laptop with WinXP SP2, T5600 1,83 GHz, 2 GB RAM.
